Tuck yourself away here, in a valley of ponderosa pines just five miles west of Mount Rushmore and an easy drive to countless Black Hills attractions. You’ll keep busy with the fun right at the campground, including two heated pools, two spas, a 180-foot waterslide, guided trail rides, a fishing lake, bike and paddleboat rentals, mini golf, chuckwagon dinner and golf cart rentals. Your hosts also arrange horse-drawn hayrides twice a week, two nightly movies and live music three nights a week. Scavenger hunts and crafts keep kids entertained.
When you’re ready to see the sights, hop aboard KOA’s nightly shuttle to the lighting ceremonies at Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument. Or explore the area on your own, with visits to caves, gold mines and Wild West towns. Leave the rig behind - rental cars are available on-site.
