Camp under ponderosa pines in the heart of the Black Hills. There’s loads to see in the area: Visit Mount Rushmore and the enormous mountainside sculpture of Lakota leader, Crazy Horse. Tour Jewel Cave National Monument and Wind Cave National Park to see two of the world’s longest caves. At Custer State Park, see roaming bison and climb Harney Peak for a sweeping view of the Black Hills. The campground is also a launching point for Devils Tower. After a full day of sightseeing, unwind in the shade or by the heated pool at this beautiful and peaceful campground. If you like to stay connected, check your e-mail or browse the Web using the free Wi-Fi. For fun, play croquet and billiards, visit with local rabbits or watch the kids on the playground. During summer months, fuel up at chuck-wagon breakfasts. Rates are higher August 3-13.
