...Thank you for choosing CAMPING on the GULF Holiday Travel Park! We are a family resort campground offering full hookups and facilities. We are located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in Destin, Florida and can accommodate all types of RV's: trailers, fifth wheels, motor homes, and pop-ups. We park everyone who arrives during normal business hours.
We offer a variety of amenities including beach front sites,
beach sites & shaded grassy sites.
The William C. Gee Activity Center, located at mid-park, was dedicated on October 19th, 2000 and is the site of many group functions.
Site amenities include concrete pads, 50/30/20 electricity hookups, 100 phone hookups, sewer, water, cable TV and WiFi.
CAMPING on the GULF has 22 "ULTRA-CLEAN" family style bathrooms conveniently located throughout the park. In order to minimize any waiting, the park has them spread out into three separate bath houses open 24/7/365.
A large heated pool, with a dome in winter, is located at mid-park
Please feel free to use the fitness equipment located in the activity center in the center of the park.
CAMPING on the GULF has golf carts as well as wagons to rent in order to make getting around the park and getting to the beach easier. Check with the gift store attendant for details and availability.
CAMPING on the GULF has a commercially equipped laundry facility, including industrial duty 30 lb. gas dryers and 40 lb. capacity washers, cutting your chore time in half. Available for use by all registered campers 24/7/365.
Our casting lake is available for practicing your new fishing gear.
Bible studies are offered every Sunday and Wednesday.
You will also enjoy a full seasonal activities program, movie rentals, limited access park for guests only, within walking distance of Silver Sands outlet mall and near many golf courses.
Reservations are taken up to a year in advance

Eastbound directional video - FROM PENSACOLA
(WEST OF CAMPING ON THE GULF, TRAVELING EAST):
Take Highway 98 EAST through Destin. We are approximately 10 miles from the Destin bridge. Follow 98 through Destin. When you go out of the town of Destin, you will pass a Wal-Mart on the left (a couple of miles outside of Destin), you will then pass a light at the Mid-Bay bridge (293). CAMPING on the GULF is 5 miles from this light on the right side. At about 4 & 3/4 miles, the road will bend to the left and turn into a six lane road. CAMPING on the GULF is on the RIGHT just under the first billboard on the right. We are just past the Coldwell Banker, with a large American flag visible from a distance, a large "ENTER" sign, a smaller flag by the registration desk, and a "CAMPING on the GULF" sign on the roof.
FROM MISSISSIPPI OR LOUISIANA (I-10 EAST):
Take Interstate 10 east past Pensacola. Exit at Crestview onto Highway 85 SOUTH. Follow highway 85 south to Highway 20. Go LEFT on highway 20 to the MID-BAY BRIDGE. Follow the signs to the bridge and turn RIGHT. There is a $2.50 toll per car and additional charges of $2.50 per additional axle. Go over the bridge to the second light. Turn LEFT here onto Highway 98. CAMPING on the GULF is 5 miles from this light on the right. At about 4 & 3/4 miles, the road will bend to the left and turn into a six lane road.
