RV Parks

RV Parks also know as RV Campgrounds, tent and travel trailer camps can be found in our easy search directory. Know before you go with information from our RV parks directory. Most RV Parks are independently owned and operated. Conditions at each park vary depending on the location, climate, time of the year and several other factors. Amenities vary from park to park so doing a little research before planning your trip is a good idea. Swimming pools, washer and dryers, various amp ratings, gravel or hard top, length, sewer, and water hookups are all things to consider when searching for an RV Park. Remember each park will have different water pressure so it’s always advisable to use the pressure regulator in the water line during your stay to prevent internal pipe damage. Shower facilities and pool access is usually common at most parks. Depending on the time of year, various climates affect your stay at the RV Park. If temperatures drop below freezing, which most parks post at check in and will make you disconnect your water supply for the night to prevent pipes from freezing and breaking. It is advisable to know if your undercarriage storage is heated or not. If not, then avoiding climates that drop below freezing is advisable. Dry Camping in an RV is not always advisable unless in a spot that does not have facilities when you decide to stop for the night. It is really tricky to dry camp if the RV you have does not have a generator. The battery drain, and failure to start the vehicle the next day is your biggest challenge, therefore an RV Park makes great sense. RV Parks can be found near many attractions and historic places. When checking into a park, see if they offer specials or discounts to the local attractions. An RV park is a safe and economical way to stay for a day, week, or month. Many RV Parks will have discounts for multiple days stay. Monthly rates in most locations are your most cost effective way to stay, so always ask. If you are considering an RV Rental while traveling, you will find a great selection on GetRV.com Rentals tab.
